Erebus and Terror

Mount Erebus (12,448 ft) steams from it's vent. Mount Terror (10,750 ft) is to the right in the distance. These shield volcanos are the southernmost active volcanos. They were discovered in 1841 by polar explorer Sir James Clark Ross and named after his ships.
