As we were boarding the Zodiac, and all around the Zodiacs as we motored to shore, were large groups of what at first glance (to those of us from northern climes) appeared to be huge ducks. Of course they were not ducks at all, but diving and leaping flocks of king penguins. A truly amazing sight!
