Day Seven, our last day - Reykjanes Peninsula, Hveragerdi, Land's End and Home.

On our last day, we bid farewell to the comfy Hotel Rángá and boarded the bus for a trip around the Reykjanes peninsula. This was convenient since the Keflavik airport is on the peninsula. This allowed us to make our afternoon flights home. Our first stop was the geothermal greenhouse town of Hveragerdi. From there we went on to what I call "Lands End". This was a geothermal area next to the sea and near where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge/Rift comes ashore.

Summary Moss Lands End

That was the end of our Iceland adventure. I can highly recommend it as a destination for a vacation. We had a lot of good times and met a lot of nice folks! I should note that I tend to focus on landscapes as opposed to people and only include people in my photos for specific reasons. I have set aside a separate page for both the aurora photos and a few people photos. Click on the buttons below to see those images.
