Rángá Panoramic View

Our hotel for the remainder of the tour was the Hotel Rángá, located on the banks of the Eystri-Rangá river. This was the view from our room. Note the "hot pot". It is like the spa tubs seen in the US and elsewhere but in this case it is supplied with geothermally heated water. Although it is a small hotel, it is 4 star and is apparently popular with celebrities. The week before we arrived, the queen and crown prince of Denmark were guests. While we were there, Forrest Whitaker and Julia Stiles (Hollywood folks) were guests as well.
