My Observatories

Observatories In 1997 I was one of the founders of the ARGO observatory in Central Oregon where I went in my spare time to image under clear, dark skies. I retired in June of 2000 and in 2002 moved to a nearby home. I am also one of the founding members/builders of the cooperative remotely controlled ORION observatory in New Mexico, although I have now sold my interest in both ARGO and ORION to concentrate on imaging from my backyard observatory that I call Raptor Ridge due to the many hawks and eagles seen daily soaring on the thermals.
